Fónua, a leading supplier to the mobile phone industry has chosen Original Software’s testing platform to support their move to Infor’s CloudSuite ERP.
Fónua, an established supplier to the mobile phone industry, has over 25 years’ experience in offering specialist supply chain solutions to brands like Vodafone, EE and Virgin Media.
While preparing for an upgrade from Infor’s M3 on-premise ERP to CloudSuite, the team at Fónua, headed by IT Director Gerard O’Rourke, wanted to ensure both a smooth transition and to keep up with the testing demand that a cloud ERP brings.
Gerard explains, “We knew that keeping up with the regularity and coverage demands of testing in the cloud were something we had to have in place to ensure continuity for Fónua after the migration, and as part of ongoing business activities thereafter. With cloud updates coming faster than on-premise, while we have access to new features quicker, we also have to make sure all of our business systems and processes continue to function seamlessly, which is why we approached Original Software.”
Critical to the project was the ability to carry out testing with a small team, which is where Original Software’s no-code platform could help. Gerard continues, “We needed a solution that our team could pick up and use in a short space of time, testing, capturing and reporting very quickly. With the Original Software platform being code-free, it’s easy enough for us to run, no matter how complex the testing demand.”
Fónua are using the Original Software Testing Platform to capture all of their manual testing, as well as test management to organize and report on their testing function.
